With our AWeber integration, you'll be able to
- Add leads to your AWeber email list automatically
- Capture Email Addresses from texts
- Capture Mobile Phone Numbers (stored in custom fields)
- Track your marketing (we set the ad_tracking to Call Loop)
To setup your integration, just follow along with our tutorial.
Integrating Your AWeber Account
Step 1: Connect Your AWeber Account to Call Loop
First, head over to the Integrations page from Call Loop and click on the Sign In button to integrate with your AWeber account.
Step 2: Enter Your AWeber Credentials
You'll be taken to AWeber and will need to enter in your AWeber credentials to sign in to your account. Click on Allow Access to connect to Call Loop.
Once it has successfully connected, you should see this:
Setting Up Your Call Loop Group & Follow-Up
Step 1: Create a Group
The first step is to create a group in Call Loop. Do not click Integration as this was done above.
Step 2: Create an Immediate Follow-up (auto-reply)
You will need to create an immediate followup. This immediate message will be delivered to your contact right after they join your group.
Step 3: Create Your SMS Message
On the 2nd step, you will select SMS and create your message which may ask for the field like email address.
"Thank you for signing up! To confirm, please reply with your email address."
List
This is the list that Call Loop will add the leads to, once an email address is collected.
Phone Field (optional)
If you want to capture the mobile phone number, select the AWeber custom field that is on the list. Learn how to create custom fields with AWeber.
Step 4: Turn Your Followup ON
Finally, turn your followup ON.
Step 5: Purchase Your Keyword
You will need to secure your keyword in order for people to start texting in to join. To see if your keyword is available, head over to the Keywords page.
Search For Your Keyword.
Start your search by putting in a word that represents your business, organization, or reason for the keyword.
If it's not available, our system will alert you. This means that someone other Call Loop customer already possesses this keyword.
Purchase Your Keyword.
If your keyword is available, click the link to purchase your keyword. From here, if you have your credit card on file, you can use this or enter in a new credit card to purchase this keyword on a monthly or yearly basis.
Step 6: Connect Your Keyword to Your Group
After you have purchased your keyword, you can now connect it to one of your Groups.
Now, when someone texts in your keyword to the phone number 38470, they will be added to your group.
Congratulations! You keyword is now active!
Step 7: Test Your Keyword
To test, send a text message to the phone number 38470 and the message should be your keyword. It is not case-sensitive.
